RUPESHI SHAH BHAT
Preschool TV Writer
About Me
I’m a preschool TV writer, and fellow with Fred Rogers Productions. I've written for Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on PBS KIDS. [My episode is airing later this year with Season 8! So excited!] Currently, I'm a Script Coordinator at Spin Master on a new animated TV program.
I write for preschoolers because simply put, they are the best! I love how 2 to 5-year-olds approach the world -- everything is a toy or something to experiment with. And just like them, I love games, singing, and pretending!
I hope my stories encourage children and their families to play more often, stay curious about their communities, and express themselves with confidence.
I’m also an award-winning documentary filmmaker, a proud New Yorker born and raised in Queens, and the youngest of 16 first cousins (so I always know what it feels like to be a kid ☺).
